The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has released a report describing the impacts of the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) over the past several years. Thousands of renewable energy and energy efficiency programs were supported across the U.S. resulting in significant energy savings and other economic and environmental benefits.
