Savannah worked to advance federal climate, environmental, and clean energy policies and solutions. She wrote and edited policy papers, tracked Congressional climate efforts, and organized briefings on Capitol Hill. Additionally, she served as the editor for EESI's biweekly newsletter, Climate Change Solutions. Savannah focused on climate-smart agriculture; transportation; international climate issues; adaptation and resilience; equity and environmental justice; appropriations and budget; and coastal and ocean issues. Before joining EESI, she worked at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), House Committee on Natural Resources, and Environmental Defense Center. Savannah holds a degree in Environmental Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
