Brian was an EESI Policy Associate from August 2016 to February 2019. He led EESI's Energy and Climate Program, which focuses on renewable energy, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and other environmental issues. He was also the editor of EESI's flagship weekly newsletter, Climate Change News. Brian had previously worked at the Virginia General Assembly, the Office of Management and Budget, and the Department of Energy. He holds an MS in Environmental Policy from the University of Michigan and a BS in Integrated Science and Technology from James Madison University.
