EESI’s New Partnership with Global Giving

Thanks to the 60 individuals who responded generously to EESI’s request, providing $4,690, EESI has earned a permanent spot on the Global Giving platform! Their contributions are helping us prepare our "Energy and Climate 101" series of briefings for the new Congress (from building codes to energy efficiency to renewables).

As a participant in the Global Giving Open Challenge, we had to raise $4,000 from 50 donors in September to secure a permanent spot on Global Giving. Having such a spot will now help us reach out to more supporters and benefit from special fund-raising promotions. These include corporate partnerships and special matching days, such as the bonus day coming up on October 17th. All Global Giving nonprofits – including EESI - will be eligible for a 30 percent match on donations made that day (while matching funds remain). That's just one example of how your contribution will go even further, thanks to our new partnership with Global Giving.
