Starting at Midnight on November 29: Donations Matched on Giving Tuesday!

Giving Tuesday is just around the corner and will be energized by a $500,000 donation from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. After Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, now it's time for Giving Tuesday (November 29th)!

For the first $1 million raised, the foundation will match 50% of #GivingTuesday donations starting at midnight, and only while matching funds last. Want to hear something even more exciting? All new recurring donations made from Giving Tuesday to December 31 will be matched at 200%, up to $100, on the fourth donation.

On January 3rd, 2017, the new Congress will meet for the first time—with new staff and a need for knowledge and stories about the benefits of clean energy. Your contributions are critical to enabling us to engage with Congressional offices to make meaningful strides towards advancing a vision for a sustainable future.

Starting at midnight (EST) on Giving Tuesday, November 29, our goal is to celebrate and encourage giving. Anyone, anywhere can get involved in #GivingTuesday and give back in a way that is meaningful to them.

#GivingTuesday harnesses the collective power of nonprofits, businesses and corporations—as well as families and individuals—to transform how people think about, talk about and participate in the giving season. It inspires people to take collaborative action to improve their local communities and give back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes they celebrate.
