From September 20 to 24, Congress addressed a range of climate and environmental issues. The Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works held a hearing on recycling and the circular economy. In the House, the Agriculture Committee held a hearing on the role of voluntary carbon markets for mitigating climate change from the agriculture sector. Finally, several pieces of legislation were introduced in the House and Senate to help fund clean energy projects, including S.2766, H.R.5367, and H.R.5369.
