From May 31 to June 4 there was a lull in activity on the Hill. But a few bills were introduced in the House during this period, some of which dealt with the Federal Water Pollution Control Act. H.R.3700 and H.R.3691 would amend the Federal Water Pollution Control Act to reauthorize grants for technical assistance to rural, small, and tribal municipalities and establish a smart wastewater infrastructure technology grant program, respectively. H.R.3622 would develop effluent limitations guidelines and standards and water quality criteria for PFAS under the Federal Water Pollution Control Act.
