From June 28 to July 2, Congress introduced several bills related to renewable energy. Both H.R.3326 and H.R.3330 would promote the development of renewable energy on public lands. Additionally, the House Energy and Commerce Committee held a hearing to examine four bills, H.R.1512, H.R.1514, H.R.2678, and H.R.4027, which seek to expand electric transmission to support the transition to a decarbonized electric grid.

Other notable bills:

  • H.R.4309 would advance innovation and deployment of zero-emissions electricity technology.
  • H.R.4235 would provide grants for climate-resilient living shorelines projects.
  • H.R.4220 would establish a National Climate Service Corps.
