Highlights:

Last week, the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry held a hearing on farm bill commodity, crop insurance, and credit programs, in the committee’s fourth farm bill hearing this year. Additionally, a bill (H.R.302) directing the Department of Energy to provide funding for students and researchers studying cybersecurity and energy infrastructure passed the House.

Finally, a bill (S.373) was introduced in the Senate to create a dedicated funding stream for coastal resilience and protection, sourced from future offshore wind development.
